The Kingfish bite has been red hot outside of 40 feet with live baits and hardware both producing plenty of fish. Along with the kingfish have been scattered blackfin tuna and even some sailfish. Bottom fishing has been really good out past 85 feet with limits of red grouper on most trips along with a mixed bag of assorted grunts and snappers. The nearshore bottom fishing has been a little slower as the grunts are full of roe but will bite if you’re patient.
